For Schools

The WVPCA is always available to help schools that are interested in starting their own school-based health center. Please contact us with questions or for further information.

The Marshall University School-Health Technical Assistance Center created the Opening a School-Based Health Center: A How-To Guide for West Virginia for administrators, managers, school nurses and community members involved in planning, opening and administering SBHCs in West Virginia.

NASBHC also provides guidance in their publication "Partnering with School-Based Health Centers: What Schools Need to Know."
