Our Role
- Assist communities in planning and starting school-based health centers
- Facilitate networking among school-based medical and behavioral health providers and others interested in children's health
- Inform policy makers about school-based programs and the health status of youth
- Improve quality of care and management of school-based programs
- Maintain a management information system for the school-based health centers' activities
- Develop a data and evaluation system for school-based behavioral health programs funded by the Bureau for Behavioral Health
- Train and provide technical support for school-based medical and behavioral health providers and support staff
