Our Role

• Assist communities in planning and starting school-based health centers
• Facilitate networking among school-based medical, behavioral and oral health providers and others interested in children's health
• Inform policy makers about school-based programs and the health status of youth
• Improve quality of care and management of school-based programs
• Maintain a management information system for the school-based health centers' activities
• Develop a data and evaluation system for school-based behavioral health programs funded by the Bureau for Behavioral Health
• Train and provide technical support for school-based medical, behavioral health and oral health providers and support staff
