This report identifies policies and strategies to improve the efficiency and coordination of health care in schools. State-wide and county-level data on school health is also provided.

2007-2008 Annual SBHC Highlights
You will have the opportunity to read about several programs that have been offered for the purpose of improving the quality of care provided in the WV SBHCs. These programs were implemented with the goal of increasing preventive care, managing chronic conditions such as obesity and asthma, health education, behavior and oral health. The scope of these projects cannot be fully portrayed in such a brief document. You are encouraged to contact the SBHCs directly if you would like more information.

This two-part study reports on five case studies that describe local perspectives on school ehalthhealth services in five counties in WV. Part II of the study examines possible management structures, policy issues, and financing options, and provides policy recommendations for change.
