Mission: To advance comprehensive health care in school settings through responsive policies, practices and partnerships.
Long-Term Directions
- To provide a unified voice for school-based health care through a diverse, statewide membership base of school-health providers, supporters, and strategic partners.
- To assume a leadership role in addressing the long-term financing and sustainability of school-based health centers and services through both public and private funding, and development of measurable outcomes of success.
- To ensure that awareness and understanding of school-based health services and centers exists among policy makers, school personnel, parents, youth, and providers.
- To create a network for information exchange among members and interested stakeholders.
- To enhance the capacity of partners at the state and community levels to become proactive public policy advocates for school-based health care.
